What
is Canberra Matrix Invitation Round
The
Canberra Matrix Invitation Round is a process used by the Australian Capital
Territory (ACT) to select and invite skilled workers who meet ACT labour market
needs to apply for a nomination for permanent residency in Australia, under the
visa sub-classes 190 and 491. The ACT conducts invitation rounds periodically
to select candidates from the highest-ranked submissions in the Matrix. The
number of invitations issued and the minimum point score required for an
invitation can vary depending on the current labour market needs of the ACT.
The exact date and frequency of the ACT invitation rounds can vary, and the
results of each round are typically announced on the ACT government's website
and other official channels.
The
Canberra Matrix is a points-based process, where each applicant is ranked based
on factors such as their occupation in demand in ACT, English language
proficiency, work experience, and ties to the ACT ( such as job offer letter,
previous study form ACT).
