  1. Diploma completed in Australia, trade qualification completed in Australia, or qualification or award of recognized standard will give 10 points 
  2. A Bachelors and Masters Degree will give 15 points 
  3. A Doctorate will give 20 points

Improving your language proficiency score 

Australia government want that people migrating to the country must be fluent in English language to sustain them in the country on daily basis. Improving language proficiency score is one of the fastest ways of increasing overall points. 
  1. Superior English: 20 points
  2. Proficient English: 10 points 
  3. Competent English: 0 points 
Try to score at least IELTS 7/ PTE 65 points or IELTS 8/ PTE 79 points in each module of reading, writing, listening and speaking to avail 10 immigration points or 20 immigration points respectively towards the overall immigration point score.

To apply for Australia PR, you must be between 18-49 years of age. However, to claim immigration points, an applicant must be below 45 years. The highest age factor points are claimed at 25-32 years. The age factor table is as follows: 

1.    25-32 years: 30 points
2.   33-39 years: 25 points
3.    40-44 years: 15 points
4.    45-49 years: 0 points 

·   Work Experience in Australia

The work experience in Australia adds additional points that will further boost the Australia PR chances. The highest points that you may attain are 20 points.

1.     8-10 years of work experience: 20 points
2.    5-8 years of work experience: 15 points
3.    3-5 years of work experience: 10 points
4.   1-3 years of work experience: 5 points
5.   0-1 years of work experience: 0 points

·   State/Territory Nomination
  
The State/Territory Nomination enables you to receive additional 5 points when applying for Australia Skilled Nominated Visa Subclass 190 and 10 points if applying for Australia Skilled Regional Provisional Subclass 489. 

·    Other Factors

There are different factors under which you may claim five additional points:

1.     NAATI courses: Completing a NAATI course successfully or paraprofessional level to be certified translator and interpreters in Australia.
2.   Professional Year Program: If you have completed professional year program, you will receive 5 points.
3.  Partner Skill Qualification: Claim five points for partner skills through English language proficiency test, and skill assessment test
4.  Points for studying in Regional Australia or in low population growth metropolitan area
