Australia First 2020 Skillselect Invitation Round Released On 10th January

The Australia immigration Department has recently conducted the SkillSelect Invitation rounds on 10th January 2020 under the Skilled Independent (subclass) 189 Visa and for Skilled Work (Provisional) Subclass 491 Visa- Family Sponsored Visa. In this SkillSelect, a total of 1300 invitations were issued under which 1000 is for Skilled independent 189 visa while 300 invitations for Skilled Work Regional 491 visa- family sponsored.
The minimum points score is 90 for both Subclass 189 visa and Subclass 491 visa. However, the highest ranked candidates are invited to apply for the relevant Subclass visa. Aspirants who have equal point scores, the time at which they reached their point score for the Subclass visa determines their order of invitation. EOI with earlier dates are invited first before the later dates.
SkillSelect first allocates available places to Skilled Independent 189 visa and then the leftover places to Skilled Work Regional Subclass 491 Visa- Family Sponsored. If all places are taken up by Subclass 189 visa, then there will be no invitation issued for Subclass 491 visa in the following pro rata occupations:

Australia Latest Skillselect Invitation Round Results Released On 11 Dec 2019

The Australia immigration Department announced its monthly EOI SkillSelect round results on 11th December 2019 under the General skilled migration program for Skilled independent visa (Subclass 189) and Skilled work Regional visa (Subclass 491)-family sponsored.
A total number of 250 invitations were issued under the Subclass 189 and for the regional (Subclass 491) visa, it was around 200. Those candidates who scored a minimum 95 immigration points out of 100 in both of these Subclass visa, they can apply for Australia permanent residency.
Under this invitation round results, the highest-ranked candidates are invited to apply for Australian Visa. For candidates who have equal point scores, the order of invitation determines according to the time at which they reached their point score for that Australian Subclass visa. Expressions of Interest (EOI) with earlier dates of effect are invited before later dates.

SkillSelect will first allocate available places to Subclass 189 independent visa and then the remaining places to Subclass 491- family sponsored visa. If all these places are taken up by the Subclass 189 then no invitation was issued to Subclass 491-family sponsored visa.

Australian Current Invitation Round Results As Per DIBP

Australian immigration authority takes out the invitation round results every 11th of the month. The number of applicants applied for Australia PR is invited by DIBP on the bases of the eligibility skills and requirements. 

The invitations depend on many factors including the requirements, what is the points score of the client, the date of submission of the application form and the correct submission of documents required.

To be invited by the immigration department applicant must fulfill all the eligibility requirements and must score good immigration points. It should be noted that the applicants with higher immigration score are invited on priority bases by the immigration department. 

Therefore scoring good points increases the chances to get an invitation from the immigration department. The invitation round results are specially designed for 189 visas and 491 visas. 

The 491 visa is the newly introduced visa where you can get additional points for the partner sponsorship.
