Applicants applying for Australia Skilled Independent Visa Subclass 189 for permanent residency should know the processing time of the visa subclass in which they have applied. Aptech Global has presented the latest estimates of the Australia Processing time for visa subclass 189.
The estimates are made on the basis of the Australia EOI application lodged, effected date and occupation. However, these are not Department of Home Affairs estimates. Aptech Global is only trying to give you a rough idea about the processing time in this fluctuating age of immigration.
The main assumptions are based on:
- Total number of invitations are expected for 300 EOIs in May and June
- The EOIs will be given under 60% pro-rata occupations and 40% non-pro rata occupations
- From July 2019 onwards, 1130 invitations will be received per round on an average
Australia follows a point based immigration system to invite skilled and qualified workers to come and settle in the country to contribute towards the growing economy. A minimum of 65 points out of 100 on Australia Points Assessment grid for the factors like age, educational qualification, work experience, language ability and adaptability factors to become eligible for Australia PR.
