GSM State Nomination Allotment For The Skilled Migration Program 2022

South Australia is on track to achieve its GSM state nomination Skilled Migration Program quota of 491 visas for 2021-22.

While Skilled & Business Migration continues to review applications, the demand for state nomination spaces will exceed our yearly allotment.

Talented & Business Migration is taking the following steps to secure the nomination of highly skilled individuals who can best contribute to South Australia's economic success and skills needs:

  • Prioritizing the Applications under Visa Subclass 190
  • Prioritizing the assessment of applications for candidates with a Subclass 485 visa expiry date within the 2021-22 program year; 
  • Employers in South Australia prefer to recruit highly skilled onshore candidates who have demonstrated work experience in their nominated occupation and are working full-time hours; 
  • Encouraging applicants who want to be considered for a subclass 491 nomination to submit Registration of Interest (ROI) applications through our Talent & Innovators Program.

Additional slots under the state nomination scheme have been requested by the South Australian government from the Commonwealth Department of Home Affairs. More information on nomination eligibility will be supplied if these extra spots become available.

Unofficial EOI Australia SkillSelect Visa 189 results 11th May 2019

Aptech Visa are back with its unofficial immigration round results estimates for Australia Visa 189. The latest estimates are about the Australia PR waiting time for visa 189 invitations depending on when you lodged an EOI, effect date and the occupation.
It is important to note that the processing times mentioned here are not closely related to Department of Home Affairs (DoHA).
The main assumptions are based on 100 Australia EOI invites for the month of May 2019. The EOIs are split in the ratio 60% pro-rata occupations and 40% non-pro rata occupations. However, in the new immigration year in July 2019, the numbers of ITAs are expected to be around 1130 invitation per average.

Australia Skilled Invitations 189 subclass estimated processing time 2019

Applicants applying for Australia Skilled Independent Visa Subclass 189 for permanent residency should know the processing time of the visa subclass in which they have applied. Aptech Global has presented the latest estimates of the Australia Processing time for visa subclass 189.
The estimates are made on the basis of the Australia EOI application lodged, effected date and occupation. However, these are not Department of Home Affairs estimates. Aptech Global is only trying to give you a rough idea about the processing time in this fluctuating age of immigration.

The main assumptions are based on:
  • Total number of invitations are expected for 300 EOIs in May and June
  • The EOIs will be given under 60% pro-rata occupations and 40% non-pro rata occupations
  • From July 2019 onwards, 1130 invitations will be received per round on an average
Australia follows a point based immigration system to invite skilled and qualified workers to come and settle in the country to contribute towards the growing economy. A minimum of 65 points out of 100 on Australia Points Assessment grid for the factors like age, educational qualification, work experience, language ability and adaptability factors to become eligible for Australia PR.

Australia Unofficial SkillSelect Results for 11th April, 2019

Australia Skilled Independent Visa Subclass 189.
The invitation round results are based on our calculations and assumptions. Please note that the processing times mentioned here are not anywhere related to Department of Home Affairs (DoHA). This is our way of analyzing the current situation keep the fluctuations of the immigration industry in mind.
The assumptions are based for 60% pro-rata occupations and 40% non-pro rata occupations for 300 places. The less number of invitations given can also because of already 22,260 invitations in just 9 months.
