Talented & Business Migration is taking the following steps to secure the nomination of highly skilled individuals who can best contribute to South Australia's economic success and skills needs:

  • Prioritizing the Applications under Visa Subclass 190
  • Prioritizing the assessment of applications for candidates with a Subclass 485 visa expiry date within the 2021-22 program year;
  • Employers in South Australia prefer to recruit highly skilled onshore candidates who have demonstrated work experience in their nominated occupation and are working full-time hours;
  • Encouraging applicants who want to be considered for a subclass 491 nomination to submit Registration of Interest (ROI) applications through our Talent & Innovators Program.

Additional slots under the state nomination scheme have been requested by the South Australian government from the Commonwealth Department of Home Affairs. More information on nomination eligibility will be supplied if these extra spots become available.
