Adelaide City Agreement DAMA Occupation List

The Adelaide City Technology and Innovation Advancement Designated Area Migration Agreement (DAMA) were created to address skill shortages in the Adelaide Metropolitan area. This DAMA enables local firms in South Australia to sponsor overseas workers in the defense, space, advanced manufacturing, and technology industries, allowing them to access and maintain a highly trained workforce.

Agreement with South Australia

The DAMA (South Australian Regional Workforce Designated Area Migration Agreement) was created to address skills shortages in the state of South Australia.

The skill level and work duties for non-ANZSCO occupations can be found in the DAMA occupation profiles. The 6-digit code 070499 is applied to all non-ANZSCO vocations.

Several conventional visa restrictions, such as job experience, English language proficiency, and age limitations, are waived under the DAMAs. The DAMAs provide highly skilled individuals with a permanent residency pathway.

Assessing Authority Skills

For occupations where there are currently no alternative skills assessing authority, the South Australian government continues to function as a skill evaluating authority. Previously ineligible occupations will become eligible for skilled migration as a result of this. South Australian firms can count on Skilled & Business Migration to assist in filling the skills shortage in their industry.
