Unofficial Australia Skill Select results update December 12, 2019

The Australian Immigration authority has conducted its latest invitation round results on 12th December, 2019 for the immigration year 2019-20. However, the results were not out as per the sources, the ITA under this draw is expected around 250 invitation for the Subclass 189 visa.
This had an unexpected advantage for Subclass 491 visa family sponsored Pro rata occupations. Skill Select automatically, gives an invitation on the basis of parameters set for 491 invitation rounds. If all places are taken up by Subclass 189 visas, then no invitations will be there for Subclass 491 visa in occupations.
As there are low 189 total invitations round, some Pro rata occupations can accidently get an invite for a 491 sponsored visa. Take an example, if 50 places had been allocated to 2613 group of Software applications for the Subclass 189 visa round and 35 places are then used up by Subclass 189 round, then remaining 15 places for the 2613 group will be given to 491 visa family sponsored category for December round of invitation.

This will be applicable when there are low number invitations for Subclass 189visa (like 500 or less) and if number of invitation exceeds from 500 or more than that, this will not happen.

The Department of Home Affairs (DHA) has suggested that mainly NON-PRO RATA occupations on (MLTSSL) Medium and long term strategic skill list will now be invited for 491 family-sponsored visas.
